Dr. Gary qualified in India in 2004 and has been providing his quality dental care to his patients in the UK since 2009. He finds all aspects of dentistry very satisfying, and over the years has received a lot of positive feedback from his patients for being a caring and competent dentist. His areas of interest are dental implants and has completed a certificate course. He has also trained extensively in facial aesthetics and cosmetic smile makeovers, which he believes can be truly life changing for the patient.
Apart from Dentistry, Gary is an amateur DJ and loves the outdoors with his two energetic young boys.

Dr KP qualified In India in 1999 and has had a very satisfying and fulfilling career in the UK since 2007. He enjoys all aspects of Dentistry, has a special interest in Orthodontics and has completed an MSc from Warwick University in 2017. He is also a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons at the Royal College London, MFDS RCS (Eng).
Outside of work he is a keen runner and squash player and manages the Under 9 Cricket Team and loves to spend time with his children.
Dentist

Catherine has worked at Walton Dental for over 20 years. She completed her undergraduate training at New Castle in 1993. She has attended many post-graduate courses and attained a Certificate in Restorative Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Hospital. Catherine is very passionate about her work and loves meeting new people. She is very driven and motivated and patient satisfaction is very important to her.
Catherine plays squash regularly and her Over 40’s Ladies Surrey Team are National Champions. She also loves snowboarding, but she manages to keep up with her two teenagers, who are both skiers.
Practice Manager

Teresa joined Walton Dental Surgery in 2006 as the Practice Manager. She has over 30 years of experience in dentistry. She qualified as a dental nurse in 1991 and gained her radiography certificate in 2006. Teresa is passionate about delivering constantly good customer care, ensuring our patients receive the best possible dental experience at Walton Dental.
Hygienist

Anna takes special interest in and has a very calming and gentle approach to nervous patients. She Qualified at the Eastman College, London, in 2001 and has a holistic approach to Dental Hygiene.
Dental Nurse

Mandy qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2003. She also gained her Radiography and Oral Health Education certificates in 2014. Mandy is a dedicated and caring member of our team. Outside of work Mandy likes to spend time with her husband and young daughter.
Dental Nurse

Alex qualified as a dental nurse in 2018, later she gained qualifications in body and facial aesthetics in 2020. Alex loves interacting with patients to help them gain confidence. Alex finds her role at Walton Dental very rewarding and hopes to expand her knowledge and grow within the team.
Dental Implant Surgeon

Manoj completed dental education (BDS) in 1995 in India. He practises with a special interest in Dental Implantology ranging from simple to complex cases. He completed his Diploma (2009) and Masters (2011) from the University of Central Lancashire, Preston, UK, and attended courses including the Masters course in Bone grafting and sinus lift from the University of Bern, Switzerland. He holds a Master’s of Science (MSc) in Implant dentistry. His memberships include International Team of Oral Implantologist (Switzerland), the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (USA) and Faculty of General Practice, Royal College of Surgeons (UK).
Sedationist

Dr André von Backstrom is a medical doctor who qualified in South Africa in 1988. He has a 2-year diploma in sedation and pain control and was clinical assistant anesthetist at The Royal Berkshire Hospital until 2001. He has been involved in dental anesthesia and sedation since 1991 and has carried out in excess of 60,000 general anesthetics and sedations. He prides himself in providing the most caring and understanding treatment possible to his patients. The sedation makes the patient very sleepy, removes the anxiety and relaxes the patient throughout the treatment. It ensures the patient has a pleasant experience at the dentist.
