Knocked-Out Tooth: pick it up by the crown (not the root), rinse gently if dirty, and try to place it back in the socket. If you can’t, keep it in milk and call us immediately.
Broken or Chipped Tooth: rinse your mouth with warm water and save any broken pieces if you can.
Swelling or Abscess: apply a cold compress to the outside of your cheek and call us as soon as possible, don’t wait for it to get worse.
Severe Toothache: over-the-counter pain relief can help until your appointment, but avoid placing aspirin directly on the gum or tooth.
