IMPROVE YOUR SMILE AS YOU GROW

The life of a teenager can be quite challenging with all the body changes and social pressures from their peer group. The troubles could be further complicated by dental issues and the metal braces that don’t look attractive and can attract undue attention. Invisalign Teen could be a life-saver for teens who wish to get their teeth straightened inconspicuously.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN REGULAR INVISALIGN AND INVISALIGN TEEN?

Invisalign and Invisalign Teen function in the same way as a series of transparent aligners with all the advantages they bring with them for teeth straightening. Below are the points that make Invisalign Teen different as compared to the adult version:

THEY ARE MADE TO ACCOMMODATE A GROWING MOUTH

The aligners are created such that they allow for the mouth of the teen and the teeth to grow at their regular pace.

A NEW AND IMPROVED SMILE

Invisalign Teen reduces the risk of gum and mouth irritation, because the aligners are not kept in place by bands like the traditional metal braces. There is cause for concern for emergencies due to broken band. A duration of the treatment varies from teen to teen, but it is possible to calculate the precise length of treatment after a consultation.

WHAT IS THE BLUE DOT INDICATOR?

The blue dot on the teen aligners is a clever method that serves as an indicaor for the duration of time the aligners were worn. With passing days in the mouth, the dot gradually fades away over fourteen days if the aligners have beeb worn properly. The colour of the dot enables our dentist to keep an eye on whether the aligners had been worn in the mouth for the full required period.

IT FITS NICELY INTO A TEEN’S LIFESTYLE

The Invisalign aligners are hardly intrusive in the regular activities of a teen. The clear aligners can be removed temporarily during sports or when a flute is being played. The same holds true for eating and drinking as well as when brushing or flossing the teeth.
